I tried to log onto WordPress at home. I can’t remember my password and I think after so many tries it didn’t trust me at all.
I am going to try to log off here and log back on. If I still can’t remember my password and WordPress doesn’t give me a temporary one, I may have to change my identity and write under a different name.

you should be able to log on simultaneously at both places. I am fairly sure I have done this.
But the thing is I can’t remember the password to WordPress and they un-logged me on my work PC, which I was using to post. The “forgot your password” link didn’t alert their support team to rescue me.
oh, I was thinking you hadn’t logged off at work yet. they won’t send you a new password?
Apparently not.
I read comments on various WordPress threads that gave me no hope as they report the “forgot your password” link is actually a tar pit.
I had a choice of changing my logon name or changing blog host.
